My Approach

There are all sorts of reasons why you might decide it’s time for a family photo shoot: the arrival of a new baby, a grandparent’s birthday, or just to update the family album.

These moments pass so quickly so it’s important to create a record you can revisit and enjoy in the years to come. As a parent I cherish every picture of my son as each reminds me how much he has grown and how extraordinary he really is.

Whatever the occasion rest assured that I pride myself on capturing the personalities of your family as naturally as possible.

You and your family can take their time, relax and enjoy the experience without feeling pressured. This will be reflected in your beautiful pictures.

During newborn shoots I will always work around your baby’s feeds and am happy for you to take breaks to guarantee we get the best results.  As a mother myself I appreciate how important it is not to rush these things and I’m also pretty good at getting a giggle or smile or two.

Every photo shoot is completely different and tailored to meet your personal requirements. Whether I meet you at your home, or on a family picnic or at a local park, it’s entirely up to you. I love nothing more than a family that has really thought about their session, perhaps bringing along hobbies or changes of clothes to personalize their pictures.
