I wanted to share a recent interview I did with Chopsy Baby magazine about parents in business. I really enjoyed answering their questions and hope other parents thinking about going into business might find it useful. It was also a great opportunity to share some of my family photography and talk a little more about what I do. It’s a great website full of lots of helpful information.

It was such a pleasure to take newborn photographs of Scarlett last week. She really is a beautiful baby. I just wanted to share a couple of the pictures from the session.

Having the shoot at home has made our phots so much more special. She even snuck in a few photos of our family dog which my husband was thrilled with! Debbie and Stuart had the most beautiful wedding at Goldbrick House in Bristol. They both looked so incredibly happy together, it was so easy taking their wedding photographs! It was really nice to do an Autumn family shoot in St Georges park in Bristol recently with Nicki and her daughter Milly.
Little Milly was wearing one of Jojo Maman Bebe’s gorgeous baby grows so I couldn’t resist to send them in to them to show them how great she looked. I was delighted when I saw them featured on there facebook page.
On a sunny afternoon last month I spent a lovely afternoon with Kirsten who runs “The Little Wedding Helper” taking pictures of all the fantastic objects and details she uses to style bespoke weddings in Bristol and the surrounding area. She has fantastic taste and if I had known about her earlier I would have got her to style my wedding! It was particularly nice to see the pictures we took featured in last months Bristol Folio Magazine. I hope we get to work together again in the future!
It seems only fitting to start this brand new blog by announcing the arrival of our son Oscar Paul Tolson. The last two months have been an incredible journey and I am loving every second of getting to know him. I have even squeezed in a couple of newborn shoots over the last month which Oscar has been kind enough to come along on.
It has been a such a busy year photographing weddings and families in Bristol and beyond and I can’t wait to share some of the images with you over the coming months as well as some of the other projects I have been involved in.
