My Experience
I have photographed over 200 weddings over the last 14 years throughout the country at some extraordinary locations and am a regular photographer at many of Bristol’s most popular venues.
I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art, which contributes to my creative approach. After managing Clifton Photographic Company’s wedding department for two years I went on to manage their family studio department, one of the largest in the country, looking after over 100 families a month and directing and training a team of 6 professional photographers.
I now take a maximum of 20 wedding bookings a year, which means each couple receives a completely bespoke service and the kind of personal attention which makes each couple feel special and unique.
On the client area of this website I also offer you the chance to view recent complete weddings and family shoots. There is also a testimonials area that allows you to read what other customers think. I can also put you in touch with past clients if you have more specific questions.
About Me
I started my career 14 years ago when a good friend of mine asked me if I would photograph their wedding. Since then I have never looked back as word of mouth and recommendations have led to one booking after another.
I have a passion for photography, particularly wedding and family photography. My style can be best described as relaxed, and I think I have a natural ability to put my clients at ease in front of the camera. I like to observe and let things unfold naturally, sometimes with gentle direction but more often without any interference. When that’s achieved, beautiful creative images emerge that reflect the true personality of yourself and your loved ones.
I’ve remained great friends with many couples whose weddings I have photographed, meeting up and taking their family photographs years on. I feel proud that my relationship doesn’t end once I have sent you the wedding pictures and I love the fact that so many couples have kept in touch over the years creating unique relationships so that I have been privileged to document the milestones in their lives.

I have undertaken many commissions to help small businesses with marketing and advertising as well as providing images for larger companies such as Waitrose, The Holiday Inn, The Bordeaux Quay, The Old Vic, Tart Café, Venue and Folio Magazine, Channel 4, Community at Heart, to name but a few!
The Equipment and Insurance
I don’t compromise on quality and use top of the range camera equipment, and digital editing software. I nearly always work with a second photographer unless a particularly small wedding. A common question is what happens if I’m ill? I always stress that I am fully insured but more importantly I have a special relationship with several exceptional photographers whom I would call on in the unlikely event of an emergency.
Where I travel?
I’m based in Bristol but as my business relies on word of mouth I often find myself going all over the country so please do get in touch to discuss your plans wherever you are based. It’s often a great excuse for me to explore somewhere new!
